For this assignment, I was asked to take the home page from the Grand Riverkeeper of Labrador’s website and cut the word count down by half without losing the meaning. Throughout my rewrite, I cut repetitive phrases and informative links, as well as removing any past events that has already happened. By doing this, the website’s text is more concise and the information that is being advertised is up to date and informative for the website’s visitors.
